RecallTech (“RecallTech,” “we,” “us”) operates the Recall bulletin (BOLO) platform at recall.tech and bolo.recall.tech. This policy explains what information we collect from authorized agency users and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when your agency administrator creates your account and when you complete your profile, including your name, agency email address, agency affiliation, role, and — if you choose to enable SMS notifications — your mobile phone number. We also collect activity within the platform necessary to operate the service.

SMS / Text Messaging

RecallTech offers SMS notifications to verified agency personnel who provide a mobile number and opt in during account setup or in account settings. These messages are operational and may include BOLO and related-match alerts based on your settings, comment and mention notifications, BOLOs shared with your organization, and account or security notices. SMS consent is optional and is not required to access or use the platform.

Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for assistance or contact support@recall.tech.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or consent records with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the RecallTech messages described above.

How We Use Information

We use your information to operate the platform, deliver the notifications you have enabled, secure your account, and meet applicable Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and legal requirements.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service (e.g., infrastructure and messaging providers acting on our behalf under contract) or as required by law. We never share SMS opt-in information or consent for third-party marketing.

Data Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with CJIS requirements to protect information, and we retain data in accordance with our retention schedule and applicable law.

Your Choices

You may update your profile, adjust or disable SMS notifications in account settings, or reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time.
